What is the lead time on new projects?
Typically 2-4 weeks, depending on the complexity and quantity of the new part.

What is the lead time for recurring parts?
CMS Tool & Die, Inc. offers a stocking program associated with blanket orders. By issuing a by blanket purchase order, we stock the item and delivery based on your scheduled dates. If you find you need the parts sooner, or if you prefer to call, email or fax us when the parts are needed, we offer same day shipment. For parts that CMS Tool & Die, Inc. has made before, but not covered by a blanket purchase order, you can expect about 2 weeks turn around, again depending on the complexity and quantity of the repeating part.

Yes, we are capable of welding aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel. We use both MIG and TIG welders. Gas and Stick welding is also available.

What quality program does CMS Tool & Die, Inc. have in place?
We have a quality control manual in place outlining our Quality Management System. It is available upon request at lynne@cmstooldie.com. We provide a first article of inspection documentation on all new parts and follow standard statistical process control procedures during production runs. Documentation of quality measure is sent with each product shipment, including RoHS compliance certification, if requested.
